36 Oak and Barley, The New All Day Eatery at Kemps Corner

36 Oak & Barley is the latest addition to the few all day eateries between Lower Parel and Colaba. Formerly the Pan Asian restaurant East run by chef Nachiket Shetye, the restaurant was re-opened, last month, as an all day eatery to provide ‘townies’ with more all day dining options.

Wood flooring, red walls, a limestone bar with a sculpture of a big black jaguar leaping out from the wall and a long corridor for smoking is what sets the ambience and the vibe as you can chow down on some comfort food from around the world.

The food menu boasts of appetisers, salads, sandwiches, burgers, pizzas, fondue, risottos, main courses, and more. The range has akuri, chilli cheese toast, mac and cheese with truffles, Thai curry, tofu and black bean, Thai basil and cottage cheese, raw papaya salad and more.

The bar menu boasts of ‘something for everyone’ with coffee, mocktails, malt whiskeys, international wines, cocktails, sangrias and more.

With free WiFi services and valet parking, this convenient all day international cuisine eatery also plans to host screenings of sports matches and will soon be the talk-of-the-town.
