Celeb Style Weekly: Kareena Mixes Prints, Sonam Sports Monochrome
It was indeed a week of understated fashion as none of our B-town beauties went ultra-glam. Having said that, they still were able to mesmerize the world with their natural flair.
If you missed all the subtle fashion this week, here’s a round up of all the celeb style that caught our fancy.
1) Kareena Kapoor
Kareena Kapoor always looks gorgeous, no doubt about that. She looked stunning in matching separates- pencil skirt and shirt with a collage of prints. She added a dose of sunshine to her ensemble by pairing it with yellow shoes. What a sight!
2) Sunny Leone
Sunny Leone looked her curvy best in a black pencil skirt and peplum top. Black clutch and wedges completed her look. With that forever pretty looking face, make up was just an add-on. Can’t wait to watch Ragini MMS 2 now?
3) Priyanka Chopra
On average, we love Priyanka Chopra but she’s got some hits and misses. And this honestly is a miss. Why would she wear that dress? And what was the need to put a belt on it? And why such bad color co-ordination- blue dress, black belt, white shoes! Some questions are best left unanswered, and some things unseen, like this particular look!
Kajol is a classy woman and she dresses like one too! She recently attended a social cause event looking simple in white pants, striped shirt and strappy sandals. She kept accessories minimalistic with just one statement necklace. Beautiful decked up, beautiful dressed down!
5) Kalki Koechlin
Like we said, it’s the week of simple elegance. Kalki Koechlin wore a pair of denims and loosely fitted red shirt. Well co-ordinated strappy sandals, sling bag and that happy smile on her face. We love this girl!
6) Neha Dhupia
It seems like Neha Dhupia’s stylist had taken the day off because we can think of no reason why would the otherwise well dressed lady turn up in an outfit so weird. Everything is off, the shoes don’t match and a well fitted top could have done wonders for her svelte bod.
7) Sonam Kapoor
We should declare Sonam as the official resident on our fab list. She takes monochrome to a different level altogether in a black and white sari with black blouse. With her hair away from the neck, her statement neckpiece proudly flaunts it’s design. Stay chic forever, Sonam!
So we do believe that saris can be super stylish (ref Sonam Kapoor’s look above) but wrapping the most old fashioned sari around you like another layer of skin is not a good idea. And carrying that jhola is like instigating the fashion police to put you under arrest for life.
Have something to say?
