Celeb Style Weekly: Mallika Sherawat Stuns At Cannes
Yes, we’re back with this week’s round-up of the best- and worst-dressed celebs. Whose style was a hit and who should you never take outfit inspiration from? Read on to know more.
1) Kalki Koechlin
Over the year, we’ve really come to like Kalki’s quirky fashion sense. The lady looked comfy in monochrome illusion-stripe Bermuda shorts worn with a white bodysuit. We especially loved the way she tied her hair up high in a bun with a scarf. Retro chic, you!
2) Jacqueline Fernandes
3) Anushka Sharma
While we’ve seen numerous celebs dressed up at the airport, this is one of the better ones. Anushka looked absolutely stunning in plaid Zara pants and a black tee. Thong sandals and her Kate Spate bag completed the fab look. We like!
4) Aditi Rao Hydari
Aditi wore a Gauri and Nainika wide-legged mustard jumpsuit on the sets of Ticket to Bollywood. A black belt to define her trim waist and minimal accessories were just right for the simple look.
5) Alia Bhatt
The young actress wore a tangerine tank with a pair of jeans at the DVD launch of her movie, 2 States. She paired her untailored look with the Adidas by Jeremy Scott wings wedge sneakers. Her shoes tried hard to make it work, but the tank seemed to have done irreparable damage to her style. We no like!
6) Shruti Haasan
The otherwise well-dressed girl made a highly surprising appearance at a recent awards show. The Amit Aggarwal black-and-granite draped gown with metallic inserts made her look like the poor second copy of Rajini from Robot. Horrible makeup, badly filed nails and an awkward pout couldn’t save her from a dozen nightmarish pictures!
7) Zarine Khan
This one is a shocker! Zarine attended the MicroSpa launch in a black translucent Koovs shirt and a bubblegum pink Zara skirt (buy here). However, the indecent display of lingerie on her busty bod is completely taking away from the charm of her outerwear. Are you trying to pull off a Sunny Leone here?
At a Mother’s Day event, Kajol dressed understated yet stunning in a Payal Singhal black skirt with yellow floral detailing and a solid yellow blouse with a belted waist. Ah, faith in humanity is restored.
9) Mallika Sherawat
Day 1 at Cannes Film Festival 2014 saw Mallika Sherawat sharing the red carpet with international celebrities. She stunned us in a powder blue Pucci lace gown. A tiny beige clutch and hair updo completed her polished look. We are hoping to see more of Bollywood at Cannes!
10) Vaani Kapoor
Usually seen wearing eye-catching, glamorous ensembles, Vaani Kapoor’s de-glam avatar just doesn’t go down well for us. A slogan tee and denims look absolutely *yawn*. Buck up girl, we know you can do better!
