The rich and pristine forests of Himalayas are home to a wide range of species of birds. These pine forests are not only an excellent habitat for birds but also for mammals and butterflies. Explore these regions with a 6-day trip to the Northern part of India, organised by Mumbai Travellers.
The trip involves bird treks daily at Kaakrgad around the surrounding forest on the bank of river Mandakini and a stay at the base camp in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. Priced at Rs. 12,000 per person (Rs. 11,500 for registered members), the trip is inclusive of food, transport and accommodation in tents on quarter sharing basis. However, you will have to arrange for your own train tickets and meals from Mumbai to Haridwar and return.
