Dramatic, Functional and International Apparel at WLIFW Day 2
We were just about getting over the fashion goodness on day 1 at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week Autumn/Winter 2014, and here comes day 2 with more brilliance. See what we loved and pick a trend or two from internationally acclaimed designers.
All About Fabric and Colour: Kallol Datta
Minimal and quirky is how we would describe Kallol Datta’s creations. The interesting fall and structure of fabric along with sticking to similar shades of grey, white and red was extremely creative and appealing.
Red Carpet Requisite: Malini Ramani
Malini Ramani showcased a total glam line of apparel for autumn/winter 2014. We are sure to see at least one of the outfits on the red carpet soon. (Sonam, are you listening?)
Pretty and Practical: Rimzim Dadu
Rimzim Dadu has presented runway apparel that may be included in your everyday closet. The dresses, peplums, cut out fabrics and strong prints are a total win.
Traditional and Contemporary: Nikasha
Known for her gorgeous traditional outfits, Nikasha displayed a collection that had strong contemporary influences. From sheer palazzos to top and saris, we are impressed.
Fashionista’s Dream: Nachiket Barve and Rahul Mishra
Okay, so we want to own everything from Nachiket Barve and Rahul Mishra’s collections. While the former was bold and international, the latter showcased sombre shades with global cuts.
