Celebrity Inspired Fashion for Holi

Holi is a day when we enjoy wholeheartedly just like children, and most of us even dress like them in oversized, worn-out old clothes to avoid ruining new stuff. However, take inspiration from our Bollywood celebs and look uber trendy even amidst colour splashes. We show you a few ways in which you may look fashionable this Holi.

White Salwaar Kameez
Instead of the old faded kurti opt for a white salwaar-kameez. Now, I know what you’re thinking, extra cost! But hey, beauty never came cheap. Besides, you may opt for an inexpensive one for Holi, which is not too fancy. The evergreen Rekha, gorgeous Juhi and our very own PC went for this look.

White Sari
White clearly is the staple colour for holi. This time go for a Bollywood themed Holi party and dress retro with a white sari. Well, this could be a bit difficult to handle, hence opt for a light, flowy material like chiffon or polyester. And don’t forget safety pins to avoid a wardrobe malfunction.

White Top and Denim
Take a cue from Sonakshi and go totally trendy with distressed jeans and a crop top. It would compliment her body and look just right for a cool Holi party. If wet jeans are too heavy, then opt for jeggings.

Shorts and Shirt
Finally, Deepika has totally changed how we dress for Holi. Her red fitted shirt and white shorts with that near perfect hair makes us envious. If you dare not leave your hair open, then at least go for the sultry shorts look.
