10 Film & TV Homes We’d Love To Live In
Wouldn’t it be simply amazing to have a large walk-in wardrobe like Carrie Bradshaw or a comfortable couch like Sheldon? Yes, we know you daydream about having that perfect living room or bedroom you saw in your favourite movie. To indulge your fantasy, we present to you 10 such homes that we’d love to live in.
1. Sex And The City
We’ve already mentioned Carrie’s gorgeous wardrobe (in the huge house that Mr Big buys for her), but we also love her tiny little apartment in the series. It is just right for a single girl in the city. Sigh, we can never pick between the two!
Wars have been fought over Monica Gellar’s apartment! Alright, we’re kidding. But we’d kill to have such a large living room with a fancy kitchen space and two big bedrooms bang in the middle of the city. We can totally understand how Rachel and Monica felt when they had to move out.
3. The Big Bang Theory
Sheldon might be adorable in small doses, but we sure as hell can’t live with him. Living in his house, though? Now that’s another thing. Such a well-decorated house that utilises every space there is! We approve.
4. Love And Other Drugs
Anne Hathaway’s house with a huge window and quirky décor just spells home. We really wish the house also came with hottie Jake Gyllenhaal.
5. Gossip Girl
Everything about this series is so pretty—the women, their clothes, hair, accessories and even homes. But we’d pick Serena van der Woodsen’s home for our stay. Just like the character, the house hits the right balance of class and femininity.
6. New Girl
Jesse’s home is definitely a must-have if you’re a city girl; it is not too spacious, nor too small. In the words of Goldilocks, “It’s just right.”
7. Wake Up Sid
Who can forget heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor having fun with his friends while decorating Konkona Sen Sharma’s beautiful apartment. It’s minimal, stunning and everything about it makes us want to live there forever.
PC’s poolside house with an amazing view is why the two hunks—John and Abhishek pretended to be gay. With a hottie and a view, we might consider doing it, too!
9. Salaam Namaste
Having a live-in chef boyfriend is just great—and even more so when you get a house with such a view! Cosy enough for a couple and big enough to enjoy outdoor breakfast, we’d definitely pick this house to live in.
10. Sarabhai vs Sarabhai
If overseas television series have pretty houses, our Indian ones are not far behind. Everyone’s favourite Sarabhai house (we mean Maya Sarabhai’s house) is definitely on our list. A luxurious space with classy décor at Malabar Hill—simply gorgeous.
