Trend Spotting: Florals On Our Favourite Fashion Bloggers
Flowers are some of nature’s most beautiful elements, so of course, the floral print can never go out of vogue. There are winter florals in warmer hues and spring/summer florals in cool colors but they’re always part of our wardrobes. We’re sure if you flip through your mom’s or even your grandmother’s photo albums, you will spot items in this print multiple times.
Why not develop an expertise over this classic trend by taking a cue from the chic trend setting fashion bloggers themselves?
1) Shanaya, Little Miss Sinner
The DJ girl not only gets her audience grooving to her tunes but also gets the ladies to envy her style. She likes florals and she likes them pretty with a pastel pencil skirt. Pair it with pink earrings and a bright clutch, she’s given you the code to a perfectly combined color palette.
2) Aimee, Song of Style
Aimee is a celebrity, really! She is the song of style and you must make sure you listen to it when it asks you to wear a floral bomber jacket with distressed jeans.
3) Samidha Sharma, Street Style India
Samidha give us versatile ways to wear the floral print. Pairing a blue floral dress with a studded military jacket gives her an edgy look. Bangs, sunnies and a clutch and the day gets happier.
It seems Bangalore is becoming the new hub of fashion as their bloggers have global appeal. Featured in New York Times, this blog is a must go-to for all your outfit ideas. In this case, for a backless skater floral dress with neon stilettos.
5) Ritcha, Ri(t)ch Styles
Ritcha expresses herself through her outfits and with this one we can tell she is feeling like one happy soul all set for an evening out. A floral top and black maxi skirt is a good way to not get too flowery. Add some colourful bracelets or bangles and a pair of gold heels and your style will become invincible, like hers.
6) Mesi and Panni, Style and Blog
The reason we love the Hungarian duo is because they love pearls, which we’ve always associated with being classy and elegant. And that exactly describes this look with a floral blazer and a white V neck blouse and the good old pearls.
7) Lauren Denny, The Style Record
Would you believe that this girl in a flirty and feminine floral skirt is a mother? Neither did we. If you want to wear your floral in a feminine but not in an over-the-top girly way, take your lessons from Lauren. We like how she dressed it down with a grey tee, a utility jacket and mules. However for spring, we’d say skip the jacket.
