Goa’s Thalassa Comes to Mumbai as A Pop-Up Restaurant
You know how you daydream about the sand, sun and beaches of Goa and reminisce about those insane times that you’d choose to go back to no matter what day or month you’re in? Because you can’t be in Goa, they bring it to you, at least a part of it.
Olive Bar and Kitchen in Mahalaxmi will play host to owner-chef Mariketty Grana, who will bring her gorgeous Greek restaurant Thalassa from Goa in Mumbai. For the lesser known, Thalassa is a white-washed Greek taverna located in a beautiful hilltop overlooking small Vagator’s beach. Their first ever pop-up restaurant in Mumbai at Olive will bring its rustic charm to the city starting from Wednesday, 11th September 2013 for a couple of months.
You may not experience the sound of seaside waves and cooling sunsets, but the food will hopefully compensate for that.
The menu will feature signature appetizers, salads, mains, wraps and grills; some of which include their specials like Greek pizza, fried feta, beef moussaka, stuffed sardines and risottos and lasagnas.
Date: 11th September 2013 onwards
Address: Thalassa’s Pop-Up Restaurant at Olive Bar and Kitchen, Amateur Riders Club, Mahalaxmi Race Course, Mumbai.
