The Comedy Store
One of the best venues for live stand-up comedy in Mumbai, The Comedy Store UK came laughing all the way to India in 2010. With a full bar, diner and café, The Comedy Store has a host of international and local comedians performing every week for the audiences to have a jolly good time. It has new shows every week from Thursdays to Sundays and the tickets are priced at Rs. 750. You can book your tickets online at their website or www.bookmyshow.com. Known for hosting The Big Mic, I Bar is the venue for Comedy at The Big Mic. It is an open mic for amateur comics with a jury comprising audience members and peers. Judged on the basis of originality, content and performance, the winners take home goodies and a chance to wrestle for The Big Mic trophy in case of a tie. Launched on 27th July, 2012, Ave 29 is the latest addition to Mumbai’s cultural space. This multi-purpose loft will play host to several stand-up comedy acts. As a part of their launch week, you can catch comedians Varun Thakur, Tanmay Bhatt, Gursimran Khamba and Aditi Mittal as they take the stage to tickle your funny bone.

Mid-week entertainment is always welcome and this Thursday evening Adam Dow and his group will be performing on Improv Comedy Acts at Temperance Deli. They aim to make you laugh till you drop with their theatrical experience and stand-up comedy. Adam is currently the Artistic Director of Improv Comedy Mumbai.

Situated in a by-lane of Linking Road in Bandra, Cafe Goa has its Open Mic Comedy Nights with relatively famous stand-up comedians that fill the tiny cafe with heaps of laughter. A power packed comedy night at this restaurant can be enjoyed with exquisite Goan cuisine based on contrasting flavours, textures and colours, cocktails and eternal comfort. These comedy nights do not have any entry fee.

Soul Fry Casa
Fort folks can get ready for a laugh riot as Soul Fry Casa holds Comedy Nights, usually on Thursdays to kick-start an early weekend. The line-up keeps changing to make sure you are in splits every time you watch the stand-up comedians. A seafood platter is a great way to start off this night at Soul Fry Casa. The event usually starts at 9:00 pm and goes on till 11:30 pm.

Cool Chef Cafe
The Comedy Week at Cool Chef Cafe, a week long comedy festival is headlined by Tanmay Bhatt and will also see sets from comics such as Azeem Banatwala, Keshav Naidu and Karunesh Talwar. An amalgamation of 15 stand-up comedians from across the country are all set to give you a week full of jokes that will make you laugh your guts out. The comedy nights will take place everyday from 28th July at 8:30 pm until 4th August at 11:30 pm.

Bonobo.bar.love.food has had many performances and amongst these stand-up comedy nights have always been packed with laughing happy people! From Vir Das’ troupe Weirdass to Sorabh Pants’ The Comedy Lab, this place keeps having innovative comedy nights to keep you laughing every once in a while. St. Andrews Auditorium
