London’s Dim Sum Joint Ping Pong To Open in Bandra
Flat noodles, manchow soup, soy sauce and pickled chilies. Is your mouth watering already? Waiting is not long now. Ping Pong, a UK based chain of restaurants is coming to Mumbai to spur some Oriental magic in our lives.
A contemporary approach to traditions, Ping Pong specializes in Chinese food, principally in a variety of Dim Sums and Chinese teas. Running since the past five years, Ping Pong has 15 different outlets across four countries – United Kingdom, Sao Paulo, Washington and Dubai. Their next outlet will open up for their Indian fans in Bandra-Kurla Complex in Mumbai, the franchise owned by Mirah Hospitality.
The Indian menu will have many more vegetarian options and quite a few Indianized dim sum varieties. A meal for two would approximately cost around Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 1,200. We cannot hold our horses long enough for this one!
