Make A Royal Escape To The Pink City
If you have been putting off that family vacation for sometime now, just go ahead and take a break. Just pack up and go out with Rajasthan Adventurer to visit the ‘Pink city’ of Jaipur on their four day trip called The Royal Escape.
The trip starts with a pick up from Jaipur’s airport or railway station from where you will be escorted to the heart of Rajasthan, to the village of Pachewar where you will spend the night in a 350 year old fort. After settling in, you can either explore the village of Pachewar or lounge in and around the rooftop pool which overlooks the dessert. The next day involves touring the fort and interacting with the royal family before lunch, and post-lunch is a trip to the city of Jaipur to explore the streets, take a ride in the cycle-rickshaw and optionally visit the art-deco cinema Raj Mandir. The third day will have a guided tour around the city of Jaipur including visits to Jantar Mantar (the city palace), Hawa Mahal and the local market where you can pick up souvenirs of Rajasthani handicrafts. The trip ends with a drop off at Jaipur’s airport or railway station.
The trip requires a minimum of 4 people travelling together and can be customised. There are two different packages to pick from depending on accomodation; you can pick the InStyle package for Rs. 12,700 or opt for the Voyager package at Rs. 9,500. The fixed departure dates for 2012 are as follows:
