6 Makeup Trends For The Upcoming Season (As Seen At Fashion Week)
We’re still reeling from the glitz and glamour of Lakme Fashion Week and we’re sure you can’t get enough of it either. So we dissected a few designer looks from the ramp and got some serious makeup inspiration for the next season. We bring to you makeup trends for autumn-winter 2014.
1. Glossy Skin
Dewy, natural-looking makeup is what we loved at the recently concluded fashion week. Designers like Manish Malhotra and Anushree Reddy dressed their celebrities in gorgeous outfits and glossy makeup. We’re sure glossy is the next big thing in the makeup arena.

3. Smokey Lips
While wine is just what you need for your evening, we adore the bright-coloured lips for the day. Designers Shantanu & Nikhil and Poco & Jacky showcased the two-toned lipstick trend on the ramp.

It’s back with a bang, yes. From Masaba to Anita Dongre, bold glitter eyes (an early 2000s style) were seen on the ramp this fashion week. We’re sure it’ll be just the thing for the upcoming wedding season.
Get The Look: Invest in a few glitter pencils and shimmer powder available here to create this style.
We spotted the underliner style at the Jade and Neha Agarwal shows and completely fell in love. What an amazing way to revamp the classic cat-eye makeup! We suggest you do try this look.

6. White Liner
Okay, so white liners and pencils have been doing the rounds for a while. But when Tanya Sharma showcased this look in her GAGA collection, we surely went gaga. Also, seen at the ILK show, this makeup style gives your look that added dose of quirk.
Get The Look: While this style of liner may be bold for you, try to use a hint of white above and below your eyes to make them look bright and open.
