A peaceful Buddha lamp, a vintage train that glows, a tribal mirror and a maxi that has all the colours of the palette. Tucked in a narrow Bandra lane is a tiny bright space with happy spirits, lots of sparkle and colours flowing in all directions. Flowy silhouettes, mismatch prints, splashes of colour and lots of chunky necklaces hang at the entrance of this oh-so-hippie store, Memore
Started by two ladies, Shruti Bhola and Swabhi Mangal who design all the clothes themselves, Memore comes straight out of the era of freedom and peace (Yoko Ono would be proud). The products scream Bohemian style and are all about quirk and fun. Here, you will find pretty cotton dresses, funky skirts and tunics, eccentric bottoms, dhoti jumpsuits, stoles and scarves, colourful bags and fun accessories. Apart from fashion-y stuff, they also have really cool home decorative products such as coasters, cushion covers, shiny glass lamps and other such aesthetically vintage things.
While the store came into being in 2011, they have now launched their online shop and website, so you can have a funky visual treat in office too! View Memore’s web store here
