How You Doin’? 5 Men We Love on TV
For years now, girls have watched shows, and movies just for the thrill of watching great looking men – you know it’s true! So while I enjoyed my usual dose of weekend drama from the little screen, I decided to make a list of the men we love across a series of shows I’ve watched. Ladies, you know you want to read this.
There was no one that wasn’t rooting for ‘Chair’, as the name became popular, through Gossip Girl. For those of you who don’t know, Chair = Chuck + Blair. Yes. Really. (I have no idea who came up with that) This spoilt, rich kid caught our attention since the first episode of the series, when he casually and confidently said, “…I’m Chuck Bass!” With his bad boy attitude through the first few seasons, a million other girls along with me, gave our hearts away; quite happily, too.
Moving from Chuck’s boy-ish sexiness to the stud amongst all men, Harvey, the A-list lawyer and Greek God of all time, looks like a million bucks in a tailored suit and a towel (watch the show, you’ll know what I mean). If his character was to ever come to life, I don’t think any straight woman, or homosexual male lawyer, could ever stand a chance – seen his smile?
This is a bit off-beat, but I had to add Shelly to the list. With his unintentional witty come-backs and the standard “I’m not crazy, my mother had me tested!” kind of statements, it’s hard to not love this boy. He may not be your typical sexy guy, but his quirks make up for it, and he is definitely one of the most entertaining characters on television. I can’t wait for when he actually gives in to the love-bug-Farfalla.
This is like a throwback into time. I know, I know, it’s been forever since FRIENDS wrapped up. But it’s tough to not go back and keep watching re-runs to hear Joey as he drawls, ‘How you doin?!’ With the sexy star hooking up with almost all the female star cast on the series (we’re talking during the show, here), I still can’t find a role quite like his on any show, which is such a great mix of someone you’d love to have as a buddy or a boyfriend. Psst…if you really did love him and miss watching him, watch this show called ‘Episodes’ with him playing the lead; it died out after just one season, but I’ve got to give it to the writer for coming up with a slapstick-dry-comedy like that.
<drumroll> Ian Somerhalder definitely tops my list as one of the sexiest men on Television as of right now. If you watch Vampire Diaries, you’re not alien to the smokin’ hot scenes between the characters of Elena and Damon, but if you are somehow still clueless, I suggest you log on to sidereel.com ASAP. I don’t know if it’s the evil-good character or simply, just the jaw line, but this is one man whose Facebook Page and Instagram you must stalk – you’ll know what I mean once you do, trust me.
