Obituary of the Man Behind Apple – Steve Jobs

October 5, 2011 – the day the world saw an era come to end. An era that saw a visionary and a creative genius like Steve Jobs.  Apple lost its co-founder and the world lost Silicon Valley’s icon and a wonderful human being.

Job’s passion enriched and improved the technology around us. More than the products, it was Steve Jobs that kept us close to Apple because he promised us so much more than just computers. He revolutionized the industry. You can say that if it wouldn’t have been for Jobs, Apple would not exist and the world of computers would be very distinctive.

He was an inspiration for many and will continue to remain so for decades to come. There are innumerable lessons to be learnt from his life. To remember him in his own words, “Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life.”

Steve Jobs has been discussed numerous times since his death on Wednesday. These are some of the tweets that would make you a smile a little and cry a little.

“10 years ago we had Steve Jobs,  Bob Hope and Johnny Cash – Now we have no Jobs, no Hope and no Cash”

“Steve Jobs was born out of wedlock, put up for adoption at birth, dropped out of college and then changed the world. What’s your excuse?”

“Today I will honor Steve Jobs and Preorder two iPhones one white and one black so I won’t be called a racist.”

“Recently I lost my father, my spiritual guardian. Yesterday, I lost Steve Jobs my technological inspiration, uncontrollable tears #SteveJobs”
