LFW Street Style: 6 Off-The-Ramp Non-Celeb Looks We Loved
Lakmé Fashion Week (2014) is not just about models showcasing fashion on the runways; it’s also about the people attending the shows who come all decked up in modish outfits. We went trendspotting and captured six fashion lovers whose stunning outfits definitely warrant a mention.
1. Shereen Bharwani
One half of a super-cool blogger duo that runs Love And Other Bugs, Shereen looks chic in this retro-printed crop top, round sunglasses and black leggings, paired with a light sheer green jacket.
2. Safa Tungekar
A student at Mumbai’s NIFT Institute, Safa is not only pretty but super talented, too (she is starting her own fashion line, Sofafia). This gorgeous red tulle skirt that we are drooling over has been stitched by her.
3. Kayaan Contractor
We are totally digging the laid-back cool vibe that Kayaan (the other blogger from Love And Other Bugs) is channelling in this pair of blue shorts and beige sweater. It’s perfect for the Mumbai monsoon weather, when it’s neither hot nor cold.
4. Shiwani Tiwari
This talented girl stitched her dress all by herself. An INIFD student from Indore, she loves all things stylish. The elegant green and gold dress complements her very well. We’re impressed!
5. Ching & Amung
This fashionable duo caught our eye with their trendy outfits. We loved how Ching pulled off a chic yet casual look, with a black embroidered sheer dress on top of a grey cotton t-shirt dress. Amung looked super-cool as well, in matching shirt and short separates with a horse print. We absolutely adore their style!
