After 23 years of great food and success, Shatranj Napoli is finally re-launching on 1st October, 2012 with what seems to be a restaurant, café, bar and banquet, all under one roof!
It’s all day Polpo Café and Bar is vast with smart interiors of black and white tiles and dome shaped low ceilings. With an inside and outside section, the bar can accommodate upto 70 people. It will serve an all day breakfast menu which has an extensive choice of authentic carnaroli made pastas, wood oven baked thin crust house baked pizzas, fresh and healthy salads, sandwiches, smoothies and more. Polpo Café and Bar transforms into an eclectic tapas bar by evening.
Shatranj Fine-Dine restaurant will retain its original persona and serve Italian and Continental cuisine, regaining its classic dishes like Stake Tit – Bits, Napoli Pastas add Paprika Fish. The menu designed by Chef Dev Singh Negi will see new additions of appetizers like Fonduta di Funghi (Fresh mushroom caps filled with fondue, served with spicy tomato sauce), Melanzane all’Aglio (Batter fried aubergine tossed with garlic & butter), Zucchini Fritte (Batter touch sliced zucchini, served with tartar sauce), Pollo della Chef and more.
The third addition to the re-launch, is Polpo Up- The Gathering which has a stationed exclusive bar and placed on the first level. This one is built for bigger groups and parties and will also serve the fine dine Italian and Continental menu.
Shatranj Napoli is open from 10:59 am to 1:29 am every day.
