The Blueberry Trails And Konkan Beckon

Erratic as it may seem, it finally feels like it’s monsoons in Mumbai. And while it lasts, grab your chance before it slips from your hands to make the most of this fickle minded downpour.
The Blueberry Trails is organising a Konkan trail that has been designed to enjoy the sheer magnificence of the place in the rains. Loosen yourself in this 4 day trip amidst greens, waterfalls and beaches as you indulge in authentic Konkani cuisine. With no checklist of sights to see, discover Konkan Maharashtra at your own pace.
Day 1 involves a stay at a beautiful heritage at Talvade, exploring the Vengurla beach and a visit to the lighthouse. View the Ganjifa art on display in the Swantwadi palace and spend the day at Shilpagram and Chittar alli, which is famous for handicrafts. Head to Amboli the next day to commence a trek tracing waterfalls and a valley. Explore the famous Tarkarli beach on day 3, grab a meal at Malvan and visit the tiny hamlet of Gumbde. The last day includes a visit to the Thakkar community art complex in Kudal to discover centuries old art form.
The trip is priced at Rs. 11,800 excluding the travel from Mumbai to Sawantwadi and back, meals not mentioned and personal expenses.
