It was raining outside. We heard classic rock music and aromas of barbequed chicken on an open grill lingered in the air. The Serpis’ Wild Side Café
in Bandra took us in.
This fairly new, tiny eatery next to The Yoga House and St. Andrews Church reminded us of those walk-in diners in horror movies, that you find on road trips leading to nowhere. And one by one, everyone disappears. Except only this one is right next to a crowded Bandra lane, with known faces to smile at. No disappearing acts here.We were safe. And hungry! A meaty menu is what you can find here, with options of the classic hamburger, pork ribs, prawn toast, beef fillet with ham and cheese, along with pastas, pizzas, sandwiches, hot dogs and a breakfast menu. We liked their creamy Carbonara and Mexican sauce with our chicken main. Very reasonably priced too, The Serpis’ Wild Side Café is definitely your go-to place for a hearty meal at a very affordable price.
More often than not, a friendly dog will be sitting by your table. The Serpis’ Wild Side Café is open every day from 8 am till 10 pm.
