Workshops
29th and 30th June 2013 – Are eggs your mortal enemy? Are you allergic to them or avoid them for spiritual reasons? Well, rejoice then, because there is a special eggless baking masterclass happening this weekend at APB Cook Studio. Comprising more than 10 recipes, techniques and substitutes for eggless baking, it will be spread over two days, Saturday and Sunday, which is 29th and 30th June 2013. From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm, a meal of vegetarian lunch will be served to the participants. Costing Rs. 4,500 + taxes, you will be allowed to take home whatever you cook during class.

29th June 2013 - The Dessert Cart is holding a bread baking workshop this Saturday, where you will get to learn and enjoy some snacky and savoury breads. Perfect to satisfy those 6:00 pm food cravings, to accompany your cuppa and even perfect to be served at gatherings and events, you will learn a host of techniques. After baking Garlic Herb Loaf, Mushroom and Corn Plait, Sundried Tomato Tepenade Pull-Apart Bread and Soft N’ Buttery Pretzels, you will get to take home a booklet of recipes and a basket full of freshly baked bread. Held on Saturday, 29th June 2013 at The Dessert Cart in Bandra (W), the timing for the workshop is 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm and will cost you Rs. 1,700. You will also have to make an advance payment of Rs. 500 to confirm your seat.

29th June 2013 – This Saturday, 29th June 2013, Sanctum Store will be host to author Amruta Dongray who will be reading excerpts from her book of poetry, PastPresent. These verses are her take on social, economic, political and environment issues, which will be conveyed through commonplace objects, people and environment. The entry to the event is free and the book will be available for sale.

29th June 2013 – For the wine enthusiasts amongst us, All Things Nice is celebrating India’s Finest Wines at Le Pain Quotidien in Colaba on 29th June 2013, Saturday. A large scale event where wineries will showcase IWCCA (Indian Wine’s Consumer Choice Award) winning wines at a fun, interesting evening where you will get to voice your opinion and help create an independent wine list of India’s finest wines.
