15th December – Make warm pear and almond soup with feta crumble, caramelised walnut and camembert soufflés on wilted spinach with spiced cider jelly, four cheese lasagne a la samskara and more at an interactive session with APB Cook Studio. Food and Nightlife

16th December – Woodside All Day Bar and Eatery, Oshiwara will be hosting its final beer tasting session, which would include 12 different international beers for a price of Rs. 1,350. The beers on offer include Fuller’s London Pride, Brooklyn lager, Liefmans Fruitesse, Murphy’s Stout, Druvel, Asahi and Budvar, a special one from Czech Republic among others.

21st December – If you think that next Friday is indeed the end of the world, join F Lounge Diner Bar in a Doomsday Party before you finally kick the bucket. Expect end of the world-themed decor and a special food menu that features dishes like Armageddon, End is near, The Future and more.

Events and Shows

14th and 15th December – View the works of artists from the age group of 14 to 74 years at 7 Days Art Gallery in Bandra. Students of Parveen AntiaHemmadi will be showcasing their works for the second time on a public platform. The paintings on display depict a range of thoughts, techniques and are based on different subjects. The exhibition will go on from 11:00 am to 8:00 pm on 14th December and from 11:00 am to 6:30 pm on 15th December.

15th to 17th December – Last Ship Art residency presents Across Upon, a group show featuring video works by Nellie Kluz (U.S.A) and Natasha Mendonca (IN). The exhibition will stage multiple video installations and projections. Check out Last Ship’s Facebook page for more details.

15th December – Witness a one-day pop up tribute to Mumbai at the Museum of Memories 2012 at Godrej, Vikhroli. The event will see different installations, music performances, art, theatre, graffiti, juggling, robots, alternative reality games and more as artists pay tribute to Mumbai. The event is scheduled to take place from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Children below 13 years are not allowed.

16th December – Join cyclists from Mumbai in a cycle rally organised by M/S Blue Chip Events in aid of Make A Difference (MAD) NGO. Two groups of riders will be participating in the event; one of which would start their trip from Bandra (W) and the other from Girgaum Chowpatti. The journey would end at Cafe Zoe in Lower Parel where every participant will get a complimentary breakfast along with freebies and a certificate. Registration is mandatory. 14th and 15th December – Shop for lifestyle products and apparel at Mozaic’s two-day trunk show. On offer are products like candle stands, vases, mother of pearl table top accessories and more that are a part of their Xmas Special Exhibit. Also, The Fashion Room will be showcasing its Winter 2012 collection by designers Urvashi Joneja, dresses by Ripci Bhatia and semiprecious jewellery by Mansi. The collection includes gowns, dresses, tunics and tops in digital prints, neon tie dyes and thread embroidery.
