This weekend, it’s all about the magical celebration of Easter. Colourful Easter bunnies, brunches and dinners, Easter eggs in different flavours and other activities to rejoice the rebirth of Christ. Read on to know about the different ways you can spend your Easter Sunday, 31st March 2013.
Otto Infinito, BKC, has a special Sunday brunch lined up for Easter, along with a host of fun activities for your little ones. This involves searching for Easter eggs that the Easter bunny has hidden, while the aromas of freshly baked knick-knacks tempt the glutton in you. Choose from made to order omelettes, pastas, risottos, and more, while a special dessert counter will assure you and your kids have a happy Easter! The brunch is priced at Rs. 2,000 with unlimited food and select alcoholic beverages and Rs. 1,500 for food only. For kids, it is priced between 3 to 8 years is Rs. 750 and the brunch will be on from noon till 4 pm.
Le Pain Quotidien, BKC and Colaba, too has a special brunch only for Easter on Sunday starting at noon and last orders will be taken at 3 pm. The sumptuous spread includes breakfast pastries, salads, breads, cold meats and desserts, along with a selection of hot dishes that are all made out of natural ingredients. Enjoy free flowing and unlimited beers, sangria and non alcoholic drinks, while your toddlers can indulge in egg-painting! The alcoholic brunch costs Rs. 1,650, the non-alcoholic one costs Rs. 1,350 and Rs. 900 for kids below the age of 12.
The Pier, Colaba, a new European gourmet restaurant is hosting a Sunday family Easter brunch from 11:30 am till 4:00 pm that will feature dishes like smoked salmon with tangerine vinaigrette, maple glazed leg of ham with baby carrots, grilled prawns with wasabi dressing and more. Choose from tapas, mains, breakfast items and desserts like hazelnut crème brule, lemon chiffon and more and a wide range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The brunch costs Rs. 2,800 with alcohol, Rs. 2,000 without alcohol and is free for children below 10 years.
The chef at Vinoteca by Sula, Worli, has put together a 4-course meal for Easter that includes roast chicken, sautéed lobster, grilled polenta and Espinacas gratinadas as the specials, priced at Rs. 1,500 all inclusive per person. Head there with your family to spend Easter dinner from 7 pm onwards, Spanish style!
Pizza Metro Pizza, Bandra is celebrating Easter with a spread of Easter delecacies such as the Polpette Al Sugo, Lasagne Napoletana, Pastiera, along with their list of pizzas. The restaurant will provide a complimentary chocolate Easter egg basket to each table. The Easter specials for lunch are between noon and 3 pm and dinner timings start from 6 pm till 11:30 pm.
Indigo Deli will present traditional Easter goodies like hot cross buns and walnut and cinnamon rolls this Saturday and Sunday, and an Easter special menu will be available only on Sunday. This will include mango and vanilla soup, pecorino and strawberry, salad greens, blue cheese and broccoli, lemon risotto with green peas, grilled fresh water tiger prawns and more. Dessert will be special Indigo Homemade Ice creams like new orange yoghurt, candy crunch, Alphonso mango and mascarpone tart and more. Bunny-licious!
