5th to 15th October – Art enthusiasts can head to Tao Art Gallery in Worli this month as two artists, Rini Dhumal and Seema Kohli showcase their work titled Stories of Invocation. Beautiful narratives on canvas done by the duo depict the power of faith in the divine, the feminine power and in oneself. The gallery will also release Seema Kohli’s book on her life and art called ‘I Am’.
5th and 6th October – Kickstart your Diwali shopping this weekend by splurging on some fabulous home décor products to spruce up your abode. The Home Label (curated by Sussanne Roshan) is hosting its first ever pop-up store at House of Tales Gallery in Kala Ghoda this Saturday and Sunday i.e. 5th and 6th October 2013, where you will get everything you require to host a Diwali card party or a fancy dinner, gift hampers, lanterns and tableware, accessories for the living room and more. 6th October – Spend your Sunday laughing out loud at C’est La Vie in Bandra as Invincible Vodka and East India Comedy present to you a hilarious performance – Virgin Pants! This is a platform for upcoming comics in the city to showcase their talent. The winner will receive a special prize along with a chance to perform with East India Comedy.
