11th August – Starting this week, Woodside Inn Andheri is hosting its weekly ‘happy’ Sunday brunch from noon till 4 pm. 13th August – This Tuesday, experience a Western Classical Vocal Concert at NCPA called Felicity’s Favourites. Dame Felicity Lott who studied singing at the Royal Academy of Music will be doing the soprano, while Maciej Pikulski will be on the piano. 15th August – Enjoy a special Independence day brunch at Lotus Café, JW Marriott in Juhu on Thursday as treats from Kashmir to Kanyakumari make their way to your plates. Authentic street food like vada pav, dabeli, pani puri from Mumbai, Punjabi chhole from Delhi, Sambar dosa from the South and Awadhi delicacies such as nalli nihari from Lucknow are only some of the dishes in the extensive brunch menu. 15th August – From 5 pm onwards, celebrate Independence Day at High Street Phoenix as they team with Jai Hind College to spread awareness against inequality. Students will showcase a performance highlighting the menace of inequality in our society through sketches and dances for their campaign ‘Talaash for Freedom’. Children from Akanksha Foundation will also present a rendition of the National Anthem at this celebration.
5th to 15th August – Courtyard by Marriott at Mumbai International Airport is celebrating Flavours of Freedom with authentic regional delicacies at Momo Café’s menu. Floral decorations, rangoli and other cultural representations will welcome you to the hotel.
