11th January: Catch a performance by Koshish at NCPA at 7:00 pm today that will showcase varied musical forms to celebrate artistic plurality. The repertoire of the band includes composed pieces that have been borrowed from diverse forms of music like jazz, blues and even genres like qawwali. Tickets are priced from Rs. 200 to Rs. 800. 11th January: Head to ITC Grand Central in Parel to check out the exhibition TRENDS 2013 by FLO that showcases bags by Nandini Mariwala, designer wear by BASTA, south sea pearls by AKIKO and other jewellery by designers like Saboo Fine Jewels and Manrasa along with contemporary home accessories by Rennaisance Homez, artefacts by Designer Collectibles and stationery by Sasha. The proceeds by FLO will go towards ‘Educating the girl child’. It will take place from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm.
