Things-To-Do: Sales To End The Season

This week seems to have past exceptionally quickly and we are looking forward to the weekend. So here is our listing to what Mumbai has to offer for this weekend and days to follow.

 

Sales & Exhibitons

1st July onwards: Anita Dongre will be having a sale of up to 50% off on all outlets of her signature labels Timeless, Grassroots and Iinterpret. You can visit the Mumbai outlets in  Juhu, Bandra, Palladium, High Street Phoenix and Fort.

4th July onwards: Global Desi will have attractive discounts for its end of season sale on its ‘Global Style, Indian Threads’ collection at all outlets. The collection is a riot of colours which will make your wardrobe stand out in the dull monsoon.

6th July onwards: Vero Moda, ONLY and Jack & Jones will have end of season sales which will have discounts of up to 70% at all their outlets.

6th July till 31st July: The Collective will be having an end of season sale with offers on the world’s best fashion brands. The offers allow you to buy 1 and get 1 free on men’s formals and women’s apparels and get up to 40% discount on men’s casuals, men’s and women’s accessories.

Burberry has a sale with up to 50% off on menswear, womenswear and children’s wear.

La Scarpa has extended their sale until the 20th of July which offers flat 25% off on shoes, bags and belts.

Rock.in, an online portal that gives access to products from European brands is offering discounts for a month. Get up to 50% off on Guide London and Full Circle, up to 40% off on Duck & Cover, up to 60% off on Le Redoute, up to 30% off on Fever and a flat 20% off on Benetton

14th July (3 pm): OnCourse Education Consulting has organised a discussion with a Q&A session on student experiences in top colleges in USA. The speakers will be alums from universities such as Harvard, Wharton, MIT, UCBerkley, Carnegie Mellon, Georgia Tech and Northewstern. The event will take place at IMC Building, IMC Marg, Churchgate. 15th July (5pm till 6:30 pm): Gyaanexchange has organised a discussion on the dynamics and evolution of Indian classical music with expert Kumar Shashwat. The session will take place at The Art Loft, Bandra and has a fee of Rs. 1,200. For more details, call 9167606469.

 

Nightlife

6th July (8:30 pm): Bonobo will be hosting The Time Traveler’s Console with a night of 80′s music which is bound to be fun and excitement.

F Lounge.Diner.Bar has a triad of fun nights planned for this weekend. Starting with the launch of DJ Mag India, a world famous music magazine, which will be headlined by Guy J on the console on Friday, 6th July, at 10:30 pm. Entry charge – Rs. 500. Full cover charge – Rs. 3,000 per person. Saturday, 7th July, will feature DJ Benson from 9 pm onwards with a cover charge after 10:30 pm. Sunday nights are Havana Nights, which means a unique Caribbean outlook in food, drink, music and dance. Entry details – Free for ladies, Rs. 300 for men after 9 pm.

 

Events & Shows

In remembrance of the one year death anniversary of director Mani Kaul, Films Division has organised a two city tribute in Mumbai and Delhi with screenings of his films on 6th and 7th July.
