Have you made plans for St. Patrick’s Day yet? It’s simple, wear something green and drink something green. It is the most famous and most loved Irish festival and all because the code is to wear green and drink alcohol as much as you can. So much fun, especially if you get your hands on some delicious green beer.

To get into the spirit, you could join the celebrations at The Irish House or participate in the Beer Pong Championship at Manchester United Cafe Bar. If you like cupcakes, Cake It Away has special Irish themed cupcakes for order.

If your looking for live gigs and musical performances for this weekend, DJ Ashrafi will be performing live at the nightclub Trilogy on 16th March from 9:30 pm onwards and The Cafe will have a blend of progressive classical, Spanish and a lot of guitar styles being played by Akarsh S on 18th March between 8 pm and 10 pm. If you are a die-hard cricket fan like most of the country, catch the big game between India and Pakistan on big screens at Manchester United Cafe Bar on 18th March from 2:30 pm onwards.

If you like to indulge your taste buds, Nawab Saheb has a celebration of Hyderabadi cuisine from 10th March till 25th March, while Kangan has a spread of vegetarian delights from all over the country which is on offer from 9th March till 23rd March. The sky bar, Dome, at InterContinental Marine Drive has a new food and cocktail menu, and Dolce Vita has introduced a new English High Tea Menu which will allow you to enjoy a quick snack and catch up with friends, family or others. 36 Oak & Barley also has delightful desserts, ranging from Vertigo Cake to Tiramisu, which will satisfy your sweet tooth cravings.

If you would like to help out a few underprivileged children, you can join in the efforts of Happy Planet Playland, Ezone and Akansha Foundation as they aim to empower children from low-income communities by arming them with basic learning materials. The campaign titled ‘Spread A Smile’, which begins on 7th March and ends on 8th April, will collect stationery to give the children and conclude with free dental check ups, a picnic to Happy Planet and stationery distribution on 10th April. To be a part of the campaign, you can donate new and unused stationery by dropping it off at Ezone outlets in Haiko Mall (Powai), Oberoi Mall (Goregaon) and Infiniti Mall (Malad), or at Happy Planet Playland, Mansukh Compound, Near Cromptom Greeves, Kanjurmarg (E), Mumbai 400042.
