5) Fights Dandruff & Hair Loss
Apply a mixture of 1tbsp turmeric and 1tbsp olive oil on your scalp 15 minutes before taking a shower, as it increases circulation in the scalp and provides nutrition, thus resulting in removal of dandruff. 6) Acts As A Natural Hair Dye
Turmeric can be used as a natural hair dye to brighten your hair colour. Add a cup of boiling water to a mixture of 1tsp ground ginger, 1tsp dry mustard, 1tsp curry powder and a pinch of tumeric. Cover it and let it cool. Now, pour the mixture on your washed and dried hair about five to six times. Cover your hair with a shower cap and leave it on for 30 minutes. Lastly, add a dash of vinegar to cold water and pour over; it acts as a good conditioner.
