Waterfall Rappelling, A Monsoon Getaway

Rappelling? Been there, done that. But waterfall rappelling? Hmm, sounds interesting. Jungle Lore has planned a monsoon getaway for all you nature enthusiast pros and nature enthusiast amateurs.
Late night drives to Lonavla and eating bhutta at Marine Drive are done-to-death. So how about a day trip to Bhivpuri, which is about 2-2.5 hours from Mumbai. Conjure up images of water in a colour of pure, brilliant white, gushing down from a height of 100 ft in a powerful journey that would expose nature in all its beauty. Rocks and the mountains will passionately embrace plants and bushes in vivid hues of green. You would also experience the joy of watching tiny saplings coming to life. You will carry the irreplaceable smell of soil and the deafening sound of thundering water with you. And we guarantee that you wouldn’t want to leave.
This sport of Waterfall Rappelling will be organised by Jungle Lore twice in July, 7th July 2013 and 14th July 2013. Costing Rs. 2,000 per person, you will get to literally walk down a waterfall, which will count among one of the most thrilling experiences you will have had. Waterfall Rappelling will also be accompanied by a sport of Flying Fox, about 400 ft above the waterfall. The itinerary starts at 6:00 am in the morning, the meeting spot being the Swami Narayan Mandir opposite Dadar (E) and ends at 4:00 pm when you will depart for Mumbai. The package includes travel, a sumptuous breakfast (juice, sandwiches, cookies and cakes), lunch (a full course meal with local flavours including yummy desserts), evening refreshments and Jungle Lore expertise. Needless to say, top quality safety gear would be used in the sport.
