Winter Beauty Products You’ll Need Through The Season
I’ve always noticed that a lot of people slack on their beauty regime through certain seasons. Using sun block only in the summer, forgetting about moisturizer in the monsoon, not using enough lip balm in the winter. Personally, I’m not quite convinced as to how or why that works in the set fashion, but I decided to go ahead and list out a few key winter beauty products anyway. Read on to know whether you’re all set, or if you need to make a quick trip to your beauty supply store.
<Kiss Kiss!> You’re not going to do that with dry, torn lips, are you? The first thing that a person notices about your face (well at least I know I do) is the smoothness of your face skin, which naturally, includes your lips. Torn lips aren’t fun to see, or fun to eat with either. With your lipstick getting stuck in crevices of winter’s curse, you have to be sure you’re taking enough care of your otherwise, baby-soft lips. The best way to do this is to use lip balm every hour, and only then apply your lipstick. Those of you who use lip gloss might feel a little extra weight on your lips, but you obviously know that it will be worth it!
This one goes without saying – moisturizers are your best friends this season! With dry skin growing as fast as babies these days, you’re going to make the season your new enemy if you don’t have this by your side. Apart from the fact that this post is so winter-centric, I should tell you: I’ve been obsessing over the cocoa Vaseline bottle for a few weeks now (even before winter got to Mumbai) and it smells absolutely D I V I N E. If you’re someone who won’t wear a fragrance you don’t like, or won’t apply lotion or even medicine that smells nasty, then this one is for you.
The beauty of BB Cream is that it’s got your day cream plus sun block plus skin care ingredients, all in one. It maintains your body temperature, as also prevents over-exposure to any kind of excessive humidity or extreme climate. Personally I love Estee Lauder’s product since it’s perfect for my slightly dry skin. Be sure to keep some BB Cream handy in your purse, because even while you’re on the run for work, your skin needs as much care as it can possibly get.
Here’s another product who’s power is so very deeply under-estimated. With hair getting very static with the cool temperatures, I always need something to calm it down. Be it simply for the split ends, the roots getting weak or even if it’s about maintaining the texture of your hair, this is something we should all try to do more often – use serum, not just after showers, but also on an everyday basis.
