Dressing Up This Winter
December is going to be here in a couple of days and so will be the cold weather. Now just because it’s cold, does not mean you are excused from putting some thought into your outfit when you step out for a fun night. Winter fashion can be a lot of fun, especially now that you get to play with layering and pull out your coats, scarves and boots. Though some parts of our country may not experience extreme cold, I still suggest you read this guide and experiment with your style.
Style Trends to Try This Winter
Leopard prints, stripes and polka dots are a must have in your closet for winter fashion. Team them up with a solid color or even try out different prints together.
2) Pop colors
If you’re tired of neon color trend, it’s now time to go back to the basic bright colours that will liven up your mood during gloomy winter days. Colours like orange, purple, red are a good choice.
3) Skinny Jeans
Skinny jeans are just the right choice to keep your legs warm and look chic .
P.S.: Also perfect for when you’re feeling lazy to shave/wax
4) Bling it up
Add some glitter to your comfy winter wear. Wear a sequin skirt under a sweater or a sparkly jacket with a simple long sleeved tee.
5) Oxford Shoes
Oxford shoes are trending all over the world and they are so comfortable to wear anywhere!
6) Midi skirts
Midi skirts (ends just below your knee caps) is one of my favorite items on this list. You can pair it with a vest and accessorize with an envelope clutch.
Layer your outfits with lightweight cardigans. You can even wear a knee-length coat as a dress with stockings for a chilly night out.
8) Printed pants
Bottoms with aztec, floral, stripes and other prints are easily available this season to help you make a style statement. Girls with leaner legs should try cigarette pants, and if you are not that comfortable with figure hugging bottoms, try palazzo pants.
Invest in some bright coloured or printed scarves to shield your neck and ears from the cold breeze. You can even use it to tuck your hair and protect them from flying.
So now you know how to style yourself this winter and stay in vogue!
